Christina has been teaching Cuban dance in Australia for over 25 years, pioneering the country’s first dedicated Cuban Dance Academy and sharing the spirit of Afro-Cuban movement nationwide. An initiated priestess in the Afro-Cuban tradition of Santería, she specializes in Orisha Movement Therapy, guiding women to reconnect with their essence through the sacred dances of the Orishas—embodiments of nature’s powerful forces.
Her journey began in 1998 with intensive study in Cuba, immersing herself in the roots of this transformative tradition.
Through movement, she awakens deep self-awareness, confidence, and authentic self-expression, empowering women to embody all parts of themselves in a more holistic, connected, and joyful way
At the retreat, Christina will bring her powerful fusion of music and movement to help us reconnect with our bodies and awaken our feminine energy. Her sessions are more than just dance, they invite us to explore our bodies in a way that feels expressive, freeing, and real. They help us shake off the rigidity of everyday life, move stuck energy, and come back to what feels good and true for us.
This is about reclaiming the power of the body, softening into our yin energy, and finding flow again. These sessions are energising and grounding, flowing and strong. Creating space to feel more confident, connected, and free within yourself.
